The deadline to register for the 2026 General Election is Monday, January 26th, 2026 at 7:30 PM.
Persons who meet the following criteria are eligible to register as an elector to vote in General Elections:
An eligible person who wishes to register as an elector for a given constituency must have resided in that constituency for at least three months immediately before the date on which they apply to register as an elector in that constituency.
Persons that meet the foregoing criteria who wish to register as an elector may submit their application electronically via the official online form.

Unless you are a citizen of a country within the Commonwealth, you are not eligible to vote in General Elections in Barbados regardless of the length of time in which you have resided in Barbados.
In accordance with Part II of the Representation of the People Act, Cap. 12, only Commonwealth citizens (including Barbadian citizens) may vote in General Elections in Barbados.
