Vehicle owners who have moved address are required to visit the Barbados Licensing Authority (BLA) at The Pine, St Michael to update their records, because insurance companies do not transmit change of address information to the BLA when an insurance policy is updated or renewed.
Persons who need to update their address information are required to visit the office of the Chief Licensing Officer (CLO), located behind the main building which handles licence transfers and regulation tests, located at the entrance to the visitor car park (see map). Upon entering the BLA compound, turn right to access the visitor car park. The office of the CLO is located behind the main building on the left (see map).
No prior appointment is required. The CLO will ask you for proof of the new address in the form of a utility bill or bank statement, and your driver's licence.
